All About Chloe!

Chloe Boyan is an actor originally from Sacramento, California. After receiving her BFA in Acting from Southern Oregon University, she moved to New York City to pursue her acting career, where she is currently based now. Chloe is passionate about developing new works and bringing life to Shakespeare's classics. She trained in Shakespearean acting through Southern Oregon University with Scott Kaiser, Amy Lizardo, and Daniel Jose Molina as well as through Commonwealth Shakespeare Company's Apprentice Program under Bryn Boice, Regine Vital, and Victoria Townsend Parise. Using her training in physical acting, clowning, and movement she brings life to every Shakespearean character she plays through the use of motion and exaggeration to make them unique and connected with her audience. Chloe is also passionate about developing new works with her friends in New York. She has acted in many new works at unique story telling venues such as NYC's In Confidence Club and the New York Theatre Festival. Through devised theatre, Chloe has also workshopped her own one person show that she continues to work on in NYC today. Chloe will begin rehearsals for Commonwealth Shakespeare Company's production of The Winter's Tale this June where she will be playing Dorcas/2nd Lady and understudying the Shepard, 2nd Gentleman, and Officer for the hilarious Richard Snee and Bob Walsh! When she is not acting, Chloe enjoys hanging out with her boyfriend, doing yoga, and watching football with her friends!
